Recently, at the New York International Auto Show - new Mercedes R-Class was revealed. The new Mercedes R-Class is the revised version of Mercedes saloon and SUV models. The car is completely redesigned model from front end.
About new Mercedes R-Class online news portal, www.zigwheels.com, writes, “The car's extensive restyling should help the manufacturer to market the R-Class in the UK after its dour predecessor struggled to attract buyers.
Mercedes has accentuated the width of the vehicle and provided the crossover with a more aggressive stance. UK models will get the integrated LED running lights as standard.
Only two versions of the R-Class will make it to Britain; the rear-drive R300 CDI Blue Efficiency and the all-wheel drive long-wheelbase R350 CDI L 4MATIC.
Both use the same 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, but in the R350 it develops 262bhp and 457lb ft of torque, whisking the crossover to 62mph in 7.7 seconds. The R300 has to make do with 190bhp, but in return the smaller car should be capable of returning 37mpg against the R350's 33mpg.
Both R-Class variants also share the same seven-speed automatic gearbox, and they each get seven seats as standard. Inside there are new trim options available, including Aspen fabric and soft-touch ARTICO man-made leather. The interior AMG sports package will add sports seats.
Expect prices to start at around £40,000 when the R-Class comes to the UK in September.”
The most popular car comes with seven-speed automatic gearbox which is the most important part of the car. Soft-touch ARTICO is also the most important and attractive aspect of Mercedes R-Class.
Recently, we saw a grand welcome of Nissan Micra just like Mercedes R-Class. The car was also the most attractive and eye catching just like new Mercedes R-Class. The new car surly makes a sensation in the car segment.
